Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels
We like to say Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels is about “more than just a meal”. For many of our clients, the volunteer delivering their meal is the only person they see that day. Our volunteers provide care and encouragement to those we serve. We have over 200 different volunteers who contribute a combined total of more than 21,500 hours while making, packing and delivering over 85,000 meals each year!
"Thanks for all your help providing meals to my parents. Despite their initial reluctance to get help, they rave about how good the food is."
We Have A New Slicer!
After 31 years our old Hobart Slicer conked out and we had to find a replacement. Kathy Metivier (an ardent kitchen volunteer) and her husband Steve decided to give Ken-Ton Meals on WHeels a gift of a new slicer. This photo shows Kathy (on the left) with our Kitchen Manager Stephanie Hurley (on the right) and a brand new Hobart slicer. Thank you Kathy and Steve, your support and generosity with your time and money is appreciated very much.Read More
